I intentionally sought out a board certified prosthodontist and I am so glad I found Dr. Effie Deegan. I couldn’t be happier with my teeth. She even special ordered beautiful Italian made teeth and they look amazing and I can eat anything!
I suffered for over a year with horrible dentures. I couldn’t eat with them and they looked like horse teeth. Then Dr. Deegan made me a set of teeth that look beautiful and I can go out with my family and feel good. I also got two implants to hold in my lower denture, and it was so much easier than I thought it would be. It took a few months to finish but I am very happy she saved me. I wish I went to her before.
Deegan Dental is the best and only dental office I will ever frequent. Dr. Deegan is a fabulous skilled doctor. I am a very unusual and difficult case. She has never given up on getting to the bottom of my problems. She always believes me when I say I am in pain and is a very compassionate person. The staff is just as great. My dentist for 33 years retired in 2013. I tried in vain to find a dentist like he was. One dentist, I tried to tell jokes. I was not there to be entertained. Very kind staff, welcoming and informative front desk. I saw Dr. Hennion for my regular check-up and cleaning and she was fantastic! Dr. Deegan is a wonderful Dentist; she is meticulous at her work and takes the time to explain everything in detail. I love the office atmosphere; it feels like I'm visiting friends. The receptionist Peggy is always upbeat and friendly. There's also Dr. Stephen Reff, who besides playing some great music is also a terrific dentist. Dr. Deegan specializes in restoring damaged or missing teeth, using expert knowledge of head and neck anatomy and the latest in material sciences and current technology to ensure you receive the best level of care. After completing dental school, Dr. Deegan, a prosthodontist, completed several years of additional rigorous training in full mouth rehabilitation, including crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, complete and partial removable dentures and dental implants. Additionally, she was trained in TMJ, sleep apnea and maxillofacial reconstruction.
BOARD CERTIFIED
The American Board of Prosthodontics administers a comprehensive four part exam, which often can take several years to complete. Board Certification indicates the pinnacle of expertise in the field of Prosthodontics. Thereafter, a prosthodontist must re-certify every 8 years, demonstrating their commitment to education. Dr. Deegan is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontics.
