Dr. Efterpi (Effie) Zantopoulos Deegan received her Certificate of Prosthodontics from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), after attending dental school there as well. She is an alumnus of Rutgers- Newark College of Arts and Sciences and West Orange High School. Dr. Deegan is half-time faculty at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, since 2008, and a faculty advisor for Gamma Pi Delta, the prosthodontics honor society. Dr. Deegan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, a Fellow of the American Board of Prosthodontics, and participates in several dental study clubs. She speaks Greek, Romanian, Spanish and some French.

Dr. Karim Elmorshedy received his D.M.D. (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry)
from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Karim is committed to providing
the best care for his patients in a relaxed and professional environment.
Dr. Karim is a member of several professional associations that provide him
with opportunities for continuing education to stay up-to-date on the latest
technology and dental treatments, including the American Dental Association,
The Academy of General Dentistry, The American Academy of Cosmetic
Dentistry, and The New Jersey Dental Association.
In his spare time, Dr. Karim likes to write poetry, go hiking, ride his unicycle
and build matchsticks models of famous monuments. He speaks Arabic and
Dr. Steven Reff uses his extensive dental experience to provide the highest level of surgical care in a gentle, compassionate manner. Dr. Reff received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he graduated at the top of the class. He was also a member of the prestigious Gamma Pi Delta Prosthetic Honor Society as well as President of the dental school’s Global Outreach Program and Oral and Maxillofacial study group.
Dr. Reff completed his surgical-based training at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine/New York Presbyterian Hospital, where he has admitting privileges and periodically teaches postgraduate dental students in addition to maintaining his private practice. When he is not practicing dentistry or pursuing professional development, Dr. Reff enjoys hiking with his yellow lab, fly-fishing and spending time with his wife and children
Office Manager Peggy Gripaldi has been in the dental field for 30 years she makes sure everything in our office runs smoothly from day to day her caring personality is complemented by her professionalism, experience, knowledge and commitment to our patients’ needs. She runs the front office; from receptionist, scheduling coordinator, financial arrangements to insurance claims processor. She is courteous and professional, making sure that you have an easy time with your dental experience.
